Marketing Delivery to back Barbie Racer in Porsche Sprint Challenge GB

Published: May 2024

We have signed a 2024 sponsorship agreement with Catlin Wood, the only female driver competing in this season’s one-make Porsche Sprint Challenge GB series. Catlin is the first Australian woman to compete successfully in European motorsport and has set herself a goal to become the first Australian woman to win the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.

During the 2024 season, which starts on 25 May, Catlin will be piloting a bright pink Porsche Cayman GT4 on behalf of lead sponsor Mattel Barbie, which is seeking to increase the representation of women in top-tier motorsport. This will be reinforced through our partnership, which aims to break down some of the barriers that are holding women back in competitive sports.

We previously helped launch Crowborough Rugby Club’s girls’ section, which now has multiple female teams playing each week in their associated leagues.

“Caitlin is the perfect addition to Marketing Delivery’s ongoing motorsport sponsorship programme, as we share a desire to help more women and girls take their first steps in motor racing.

We previously sponsored Caitlin at the Nürburgring where she became the first woman to win her class. I’ve been lucky enough to witness her race-craft close-up when she recently coached me on my own on-track activity. I’m certain she will be a force to be reckoned with in the forthcoming series.”

Jeremy Evans, CEO, Marketing Delivery

“I’m thrilled to welcome Marketing Delivery as a valued partner in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, extending our existing relationship and showcasing Marketing Delivery’s expanding presence in motorsport.

I’m deeply appreciative of how Jeremy and the team are supporting the effort to inspire female participation in sports, and I’m hopeful more organisations will rally to the cause.”
