North West Dealer Group puts emphasis on Customer Relationships

North West based dealer group, Swansway Garages, have begun the roll out of an advanced Customer Relationship Management programme with dealer marketing specialists Marketing Delivery.

The programme, which uses Marketing Delivery’s SmartMail system, keeps the dealerships in touch with customers throughout the sales process and on into the aftersales process. Using Email and SMS the programme ensures customers are contacted at the right time for them, using their preferred methods of communication.

Marketing Delivery utilises data held on the Group’s showroom and DMS systems to ensure the correct communications are sent at the right time. Swansway Garages Director, John Smyth, commented, “Targeted interaction with our customers is more important than ever. Marketing Delivery’s SmartMail system fits with our existing systems and provides us with a great tool to keep in touch with our customers, without adding to the workload of our teams – leaving them free to delight their customers as normal.”

The CRM programme was piloted at the Stafford Land Rover business and is now being rolled out through Swansway Garage’s Audi, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Van dealerships over the coming months. Marketing Delivery managing director Jeremy Evans said “We are delighted to be working with Swansway Garages on this project. With their customers at the centre of all they do already, our systems and processes are being easily adopted in the Group and well received by their customers.”
