Cambria Automobiles has taken a bold step forward by signing up to a fully managed social media service with dealer marketing specialists Marketing Delivery. The announcement follows a six month pilot that has helped define the objectives of the programme for the group.
The service, Social CRM, will initially focus on developing their dealers’ presence on Facebook and Twitter, with an emphasis on transparent, genuine and engaging dialogue. Marketing Delivery will be implementing bespoke content strategies tailored for each social media platform, focusing on key components of people, cars and community. Along with regular content, the service on Facebook includes sharing customer feedback generated from customer replies to CRM messages, Social-Stock – a used car stock search app – and a ‘book a service’ tab to enable customers to interact with the dealership without having to leave the domain.
Marketing Delivery managing director Jeremy Evans said “We have been working with Cambria for over four years now. They have proven to be a very proactive and forward-thinking client, who is always willing to test new ideas.”
Ian Godbold, marketing director at Cambria said “We recognise that social media integration is a key element of our overall content marketing strategy, working with marketing delivery will provide specialist support in producing a cohesive plan that is supported by engaging social media that will foster online communities and see loyalty and retention develop even further.”
